Op donderdagavond 24 september organiseert de NVvP in samenwerking met Implanetic - Clean&Seal een Klinische Avond door dr. Eglė Ramanauskaitė.
Hoe een operatie te vermijden bij ernstige parodontitis?
Dr. Eglė Ramanauskaitė bespreekt hoe chirurgie bij ernstige parodontitis mogelijk kan worden voorkomen door optimale niet-chirurgische parodontale behandeling. Naast grondige subgingivale reiniging kan de aanvullende toepassing van het ‘Clean and Seal’-concept, met natriumhypochloriet/aminozuren en cross-linked hyaluronzuur, zorgen voor betere klinische resultaten, reductie van paropathogene bacteriën en ondersteuning van weefselregeneratie, waardoor de noodzaak voor chirurgische behandeling mogelijk afneemt.
Dr. Eglė Ramanauskaitė received her Master degree in Odontology in 2008 in Kaunas University of Medicine, Kaunas, Lithuania. 2017 finished 3 years post-graduate program in Periodontology, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Kaunas, Lithuania. In 2025 dr Eglė defended her PhD thesis, which was dedicated to the application of hyaluronic acid in non-surgical periodontal therapy.
Dr Eglė works in a private practise as well as teaches periodontology undergraduate dental students in Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. Egles research focuses on non-surgical periodontal therapy. She has published her research in international peer-reviewed journals, is a presenter in Dental congresses nationally and internationally, organises courses of professional developement for dental professionals.
